Thai Wood Carvings

In traditional wood carving factories in Thailand skilled artists work for up to 12 months on a single piece of wood to create the most intricate carvings imaginable. A large carving (2m wide) will cost you up to $20,000 US dollars but they are well worth it if you can afford the money.
Below is one example carving.
