Preikestolen (Preacher's Pulpit)

Preikestolen or Prekestolen, also known as Preacher's Pulpit or Pulpit Rock, is a massive cliff face located 604m above the fjord in Forsand, Norway. The top of the cliff is about 25m by 25m in size and has become a popular tourist attraction for its unusual shape and spectacular views from the top.

In order to access Preikestolen tourists must make the 3.8 km hike which can take 1-3 hours as it's very steep in places. There are a number of other walking trails in the area for those interested is seeing more of the rugged landscape.
