Was the Moon Landing a Hoax?

April 25th 2008 08:32
Look at this photo from the moon landing. Are those movie lights on the left lighting the set?
Was the whole moon landing staged?

Look at that photo of the moon landing.

Have those lights on the left been doctored in Photoshop?

Come on, how many times do we have to go through this?

it is probably refraction through the lens, of the sun.

one of the "lights" is eliptical, whcih studio lights are not.

besides, do you really think the USA government would go to all that trouble, just to release something exposing the lie?

they are smarter than that.

however, one thing is very possible, that they had filmed a whole faked moon walk exercise and had it on standby, should anything have gone wrong on the moon, thereby protecting their credibility and keeping the Russians in second place in the space race, which up until then, the Russkies were winning hands down.

cheers

It's too dangerous now to go back to the moon, they say, could we see some "un-doctored" just-discovered pics of the current lunar surface, where that footprint is (was) we could use a new topic, lol

i think this whole thing is about bordom. just a bunch of people who got bored one day and started to make up a bunch of bull. come on people think about it, somebody would have told the truth eventually. wheiter its because they are a good person and couldnt handle the pressure any more or the fame. face it america loves fame and people will do any thing for it. believe what you want though. everyone has their personal opinions and i just stated mine

^ For the same reason the shadows are so well defined- the surface of the moon is light in color, which makes it highly reflective. Short story long, there is lots of light. Have you ever looked at the night's sky when there is lots of ambient light (the moon, artificial light etc)? No stars.

To the subject, those “lights” are clearly reflections from the camera lens… I had to laugh when I saw someone mistake them for photography equipment.

It's definitely a reflection or glare. If you look closely they have the rainbow effect that only happens when light hits glass.
