Thanks to Environmental Graffiti, here are some of the most incredible, interesting and rare light phenomena or events that you may or may not be lucky enough to see in your life time.


Auroras - light features
Aurora - The collision of electronically charged particles in the earth’s upper atmosphere.



light phenomena - mirage
Mirage - Interaction between cold air near ground level and warm air immediately above it may act as a refracting lens and produce an upside down image of objects on the horizon

22º Halo - Caused by ice crystals in high altitude cirrus clouds.


Moonbow - light phenomena
Moonbow - Combination of a low moon and dark sky.
