World's Largest Cat

The liger is a hybrid cross between a male lion and a female tiger (not to be confused with a tigon). It is the largest of all cats in existence today. The mix of genes in this way causes gigantism. Tigons with a male tiger and female lion are not as large in size.

Here are some pictures of one of the largest Ligers alive - Hercules and his trainer.
