Horseshoe Bend

Located near the town of Page, Arizona, in the United States and slightly downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell, as it's name suggests this is a horseshoe-shaped meander of the Colorado River. It's amazing what shapes the ancient sandstone has been swirled into by the forces and wind, water and time.
A visit to the Horseshoe Bend is a very unique experience.
